Overview:

The aim of the course is to understand the future of the urban humanity, its evolution and how the future beyond 2030 looks like, which challenges and pathways shaping urban futures will dominate in the next decades, and how the relationship between human and technology will evolve. Participants will be able to grasp resilience principles, zero-carbon urban future and urban sustainability as a basis for the urban humanity; the participants will be able to capture the forward-thinking methodology and comprehend the next generations of urban territories and its implications for Dubai and UAE.

Target Audience:

The course aims at attracting international urban planning professionals focused on foresight studies to share international urban planning best practices with the UAE. This course is intended for all management government employees dealing with strategic work.

  • Age of participants – no age limit. The course on the Future of Humanity is intended for all employees, junior, mid and upper management level. 
  • Professional background – the course is dedicated to the municipal staff working with the economic and business profile of the municipality, urban planners, environmental experts and IT. 
  • Skills – no additional skills are needed, however, prior knowledge of big data analysis at a city level would be interesting.
