Overview:

This course will introduce participants on how to apply blockchain technologies and distributed ledger thinking in government and private sector projects in Dubai and UAE. The concepts and ideas behind blockchain and cryptocurrencies will be explained. We explain how blockchain projects are being implemented in Dubai and the UAE in different government entities and organizations. We demonstrate how Dubai is leading the global blockchain revolution through use cases and real life examples. We are an easy to understand framework to understand how organizations can increase their competitiveness through blockchain and explain when to use blockchain and when not to reach organizational objectives.

• Knowledge about key terms of Blockchain (decentralized platforms, value transfer, smart contracts, etc.)
• To understand how blockchain has been used in public and private entities in Dubai and UAE
• To have a basic knowledge of what it takes to define, design and implement a blockchain project and knowing where to find more information

Target audience:

This course is intended for government employees in Dubai, with special focus on project managers who are interested in how to design and implement blockchain projects

This course is open for all professionals and employees that feel blockchain might be something of importance for their project or who simply want to understand the phenomenon better.

Pre-requisite:

• No prior knowledge about blockchain is required
•  Course is designed to be an introduction into blockchain and distributed ledger technologies, with a focus on government and private sector employees in project management capacities

Courses are complimentary for all government employees and UAE nationals. 

Private sector and other applicants will be charged a fee of 1500Aed.
