About the competition:

Images of the future often look like they are disconnected from the past. What would the future look like if it was grounded in the values, style, and culture of a specific place? What would the future look like if it was made in the UAE?

This competition explores the intersection of Emirati tradition with high technology, imagining a new aesthetic that can inspire, guide, and empower a new generation of designers, artists & entrepreneurs.

There is no right answer, especially in a place as diverse as the UAE. What is your interpretation of what the future would look like?

Competition objectives:

The Award aims to develop a unique take on the future highlighting the characteristics, style and traditions of the UAE.
