DFF and KOTRA in new partnership to connect innovators across borders

Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) to strengthen ties between Dubai and Korea in innovation and entrepreneurship.

Under the MoU, Korean companies and startups will be linked with UAE government entities, regulators, and local partners to support innovation and business expansion. This partnership will promote the participation of KOTRA in international events organised by DFF. The agreement will enable UAE startups, research institutions, and government entities to access Korea’s innovation landscape and explore collaboration opportunities across different sectors.

This collaboration will:

Accelerate business expansion – linking Korean startups with UAE government entities, regulators, and ecosystem partners.

Open new opportunities – giving UAE startups and research institutions access to Korea’s innovation landscape.

Amplify global platforms – showcasing both partners at DFF’s flagship events.

Attract talent and investment – supporting future-driven sectors and industries of tomorrow.

The MoU was signed at AREA 2071, Emirates Towers, by Alia Al Mur, Chief Transformation and Partnerships Officer at DFF, and Mr. Byungho Kim, Regional President for MENA at KOTRA, in the presence of senior officials.
